Ordering KlearKase

Do you accept international orders outside the United States?: KlearKase accepts international orders directly through PayPal. To order, visit http://www.klearkase.com/products/international-purchases/
How do I order a KlearKase?: Visit the "Products" section to order the product(s) you're interested in. KlearKase for Kindle 3 and KlearKase for Kindle 2 are sold on Amazon.com (US Only). KlearKase for iPhone 4 is sold directly by KlearKase through PayPal. All international orders are sold directly through KlearKase through PayPal.
How much do you charge for shipping?: Standard shipping for all products is FREE within the United States. KlearKase for Kindle 2 is sold on Amazon, and is therefore eligible for Amazon’s Super Saver Shipping and Amazon Prime. Expedited shipping is available for all products at an additional fee. Products sold on KlearKase.com have the following shipping options. UNITED STATES (1) 3-5 day for Free (2) 2-3 day for $3.99 (3) Overnight for $19.95. INTERNATIONAL (1) economy $12.50 (2) express $25.70
What is your return policy?: We have a 30 day return policy. All returned items must be received within 30 days of purchase to obtain a full refund of the purchase price. Please see our return policy in the "Customer Service" section for more details. We want each and every customer to be satisfied, so please contact us with any questions, even if it's been more than 30 days.
Which Kindle version do I own?: To determine which Kindle version you own, see the Kindle Versions guide in the support menu.
Will I have to pay sales tax?: Sales tax will only be collected if you are ordering from the state of Washington.

Product Questions

Can I access the buttons on my Kindle without removing the KlearKase?: The KlearKase covers and seals the whole Kindle while providing easy access to all controls. Silicone seals enable easy access to the power slider and recharging port. At only 6 ounces and 2mm thick, the KlearKase always-on design means you install it once and then always have an additional layer of protection with minimal impact to the Kindle’s size, weight, functionality and style.
Can I access the keyboard on my Kindle without removing the KlearKase?: Yes – KlearKase is fully functional. A thin layer of silicone covers the keyboard allowing it to be easily used.
Can I access the power slider on my Kindle without removing the KlearKase?: Yes – KlearKase is fully functional. Silicone seals enable easy access to the power slider and USB port.
Can I still use my Kindle’s speakers with KlearKase?: The Kindle’s speakers still function with KlearKase. We have tested the Kindle’s speakers with and without KlearKase and there is not a noticeable difference in audio quality.
Does my KlearKase always need to be left on? Can I take it off and put it back on?: While KlearKase can be left on with minimal impact to your Kindle experience, leaving the case on is not a requirement. KlearKase can be taken on and off easily without wear and tear.
How large is KlearKase?: KlearKase weighs only 6 ounces and is only 2mm thick.
Is KlearKase completely waterproof?: KlearKase is 100% sealed and designed to be left on for everyday use. KlearKase is splash-proof, but not waterproof and should not be submerged underwater. A fully waterproof case that can be submerged in water adds significant weight and size to the Kindle, and therefore would not be helpful for everyday protection and use.
What if I drop my Kindle and KlearKase in the water momentarily?: While our warranty and product use statements on this site detail our official stance (and how we will back up the product), we believe that a short drop in the pool, ocean, or bathtub would not be likely to result in damage to your Kindle if it is removed from the water and dried promptly. Since some users may not secure the silicon plugs, we can’t make promises about results from submersion. The founders of KlearKase have been using their KlearKase in their tubs and poolside without issue, but we cannot guarantee that a KlearKase falling into water will not leak. If you submerge an unprotected Kindle into water, it will almost certainly be ruined; KlearKase turns certain ruin into probable survival (but not guaranteed survival).
What is KlearKase made of?: KlearKase is made of strong, transparent polycarbonate – the same material that is used in the canopy of an F22 jet.
